Scarlett Baptism Pictures

Dear Scarlett is a sweet sweet girl and I love her mother and her entire happy family. I am grateful to take pictures of such a special time in this sweet girl's life. Her parents teach her what is good and true and you can see in her happy smile that she is following their examples of goodness. It was raining before we took these portraits, stopped as we entered the location, and started up again just as we were finishing. The earth was so bright and clean and full of color and life- just like Scarlett.

Sometimes, happy coincidences happen in life and I am always so glad when they do because they remind me I'm doing what I should be. This week, Mary Horne Photography reached out looking for some help on a rainy wedding day. She kindly accepted my offer to help and here I was. We met, and realized we had attended the same marvelous elementary school and had so many fun people in common. Then she informed that this wedding we were photographing was for another cute girl from the same school! I loved seeing so many dear friends and what a happy turn of events! The weather ended up holding for us just when we needed it to, and I was able to sneak in a few shots as well.
